============================================
The Minors have some recovering from Injurys (Hampton, Gerut)
and some simply not given a full shot by their RL Clubs (Linden, Harris)
The Manatees in last few drafts concentrated on Catching and at a Point had quite a stable of Catchers... Garrett Gentry, Justin Huber, Jeff Mathis, Brian McCann, Yadir Molinia.
McCann made it to the Big's, Molinia was traded, huber in RL has been shifted to 1B, Gentry allowed RL issues mess his once high prospects.. Mathis failed in a short try in 2006 however will get another shot in 2007 in RL.
Manatess also added a few lesser catching prospects who however do have some upside value and might surprise.
Most Recent drafts added some fresh Pitching prospects, One,Feierabend
showed promis in his look-see in 2006 and could well be in RL Seattles rotation in 2007.
Hampton is expected to be recovered and back in majors in 2007 RL,
Hanrahan is going to need to show he has the stuff soon or his prospects will fade away.. Matt Harrison is looking good and could be in Majors sometime in 2007. Brett Anderson could be in there in 2008.
Manatees have sorely needed decent pitching, If a few make it in RL 2008
then the 2008 Manatees could have a pretty solid pitching corps to go with their Young Hitters.
Other Prospects: Huber May get a shot if 1B opens up,
he definite will get a shot at B or Catcher id he gets traded elsewhere, he can hit, he simply has had bad luck to been blocked.
Van Pope is hoped to be a future manatee 3B
Nothing too Thrilling in the Manatees Outfield prospects, Gerut if recovers from injury could return to Majors.
Linden if given a full time shot could still possiable be a 25 hr hitter,
his best prospect would be a deal sending him away from RL Giants and their "veteranminded" outfield..
Overall Nothing too outstanding in Manatees minors, they had McCann
and Fielder make the majors so less star potential remains.
